CALL TO WORSHIP:

Leader: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not be in want.

People: You spread a table before me in the presence of be in want.

Leader: You anoint my head with oil, my cup is running over.

People: Surely your goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.

ALLWe here at UHPC have come to worship God!

HYMN 1:.. "Ancient Words" (Insert)

PRAYER OF CONFESSION:....…..(In Unison)

We rejoice on the wonder of your resurrection; O Christ, but then tend to sink back into our ways of thinking, behaving, responding to people's needs; We can dance with the angels and humankind on Easter Sunday but the days following the day of Resurrection cause us to slip back into apathy of despair. Forgive us when we so easily become distracted by our own cares and worries that we ignore the needs of others around us; Change us up O Lord! Set our hearts to dancing! Give us a spirit for rejoicing with willing hearts and hands for helping voices for praising you forever! Amen

ASSURANCE OF PARDON:

God is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness'; Our God is able for all time to save those who approach God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for us; Hear the good news of the Gospel. Jesus' grace is sufficient for us all! In Christ we are forgiven; Amen

PASSING THE PEACE:

Leader: Since God has forgiven us in Christ, let us forgive one another. The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with all of you.

People: And peace be with you also.

“I’VE GOT PEACE LIKE A RIVER”…. #368

I've got PEACE like a river (3Xs) in my soul - repeat

I've got JOY like a fountain(3Xs) in my soul - repeat
I've got LOVE like an ocean(3Xs) in my soul - repeat

Communion Hymn:... “Let Us Break
                                     Bread” #513

1. Let us break bread together on our knees;
(on our knees;) Let us break bread together
on our knees. (on our knees.) When I fall on
my knees, With my face to the rising sun, O
Lord, have mercy on me. (on me.)

2. Let us drink wine together on our knees;
(on our knees;) Let us drink wine together on our knees. (on our knees.) When I fall on my knees, With my face to the rising sun, O Lord, have mercy on me. (on me.)

3. Let us praise God together on our knees;
(on our knees;) Let us praise God together on our knees. (on our knees.) When I fall on my knees, With my face to the rising sun, O Lord, have mercy on me.

COMMUNION PRAYER:
Friends: This is the joyful feast of the people of God! People will come from east and, west and from north and south and sit at table in the kingdom of God. This is the Lord's Table. Our Savior invites those who trust him to share the feast which he has prepared. According to Luke, when our Risen Lord was at table with his disciples, he took the bread and blessed and broke it, and gave it to them, and their eyes were opened and they recognized him.

P: The Lord be with you.
C: And also with you.
P: Lift up your hearts!
C: We lift them up to the Lord.
P: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
C: For it is holy and right to do so.

P: Holy and right it is, and our joyful duty to
give thanks to you at all times and in all
places, O Lord our Creator, almighty and
everlasting God! You created Heaven with all
its hosts and the earth with all its plenty. You
have given us Life and being and preserved us by your providence. But you have shown us the fullness of your love in sending into the world your Son, Jesus Christ, the eternal Word made flesh for us and for our salvation. For the precious gift of this mighty Savior who has reconciled us to you, we praise and bless you, O God. With your whole Church on earth and with all the company of heaven, we worship and adore your glorious name. Great and wonderful are your works, Lord God Almighty. Your ways are just and true. With people of faith, from all times and places, we lift our hearts in joyful praise, for you alone are holy.

All: Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of hosts!
Heaven and earth are full of your glory.
Hosanna in the highest! Blessed is he that
comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!

P: Most righteous God, we remember in this
Supper the perfect sacrifice offered once on
the cross by our Lord Jesus Christ for the sin
of the whole world. In the joy of his
resurrection and in expectation of his coming again, we offer ourselves to you as holy and living sacrifices. Together we proclaim the mystery of the faith:

All: Christ has died! Christ is risen! Christ will come again.

P: Holy Father, we thank you for your Son, Jesus, who lived with us sharing joy and sorrow. He told your story, healed the sick, and was a friend of sinners. Obeying you, he took up his cross and was murdered by men and women he loved. We praise you that he is not dead but is risen to rule the' world; and that he is still the friend of sinners. We trust him to overcome every power to hurt or divide us, so that, when you bring in your promised Kingdom, we will celebrate victory with him.

Remembering the Lord Jesus, we break bread and share one cup, announcing his death for the sins of the world, and telling of his resurrection to all people and nations.
Great God: give your Holy Spirit in the breaking of bread, so that we may be drawn together, and, joined to Christ the Lord, receive new life, and remain his glad and faithful people until we feast with him in glory.

O God, who called us from death to life: we give ourselves to you; and with the church through all ages, we thank you for your saving love in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
P: At this time brothers and sisters, please lift your bread or crackers as I continue: The Lord Jesus, on the night of his arrest, took bread and after giving thanks to God, broke it and said; "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me." Ministering in his name, I offer this bread to you.

In the same way, he took the cup after supper, and said: "This cup is the new covenant sealed in my blood, whenever you drink it, do this, remembering me." Every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the death of the Lord until he comes. Ministering in his name, I offer this cup to you.

P: Jesus said, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never be hungry; he who believes in me shall never thirst." Jesus said, "I am the vine, you are the branches. Cut off from me you can do nothing." The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Let the Church say, Amen.

Alleluia! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, has come Into his kingdom! Let us rejoice, let us be glad with all our hearts. Let us give him the glory forever and ever. Amen.

P: Bless the Lord O my soul;
C: And all that is within me, bless His Holy
name!

UNISON: Alleluia! For the Lord our God - The
Almighty has come into His Kingdom! Let us
rejoice, let us be glad with all our hearts. Let
us give Him the glory for ever and ever.
Amen!
